Apparently lighting did strike twice in Cleveland as they handled the Bungles quite easily at home. If this teaches us one thing it's don't take losses personnel. I'm sure I would have passed on the Cincy/Browns game if I hadn't been holding a grudge against the Browns for knocking me out of my survival pool. All I can hope for now is that they win just enough games to get a crappy draft pick and be irrelevant for the next 5 years.
Cincy, Titans/under teaser, and the Skins/Raiders over all lost, but the Ravens/Colts teaser, Cards/under teaser and the rock solid 4 team teaser were all wins, knotting the day at 3-3.
50% is not good enough. I'll have to get two wins on Monday night to get to 60% in the NFL...if only I listened to myself and took the 49ers on Thursday and faded the Cowboys...another lesson learned.
The pick...
The sharps and the public love the Saints. Lined opened at 5.5 and is now 7. I don't like two score lines so I'm staying away form that. I do however like the Saints money line at (-296). I also like the over at (48). We know the Saints can put up points and Miami's defense is middle of the pack in the NFL. If Miami can put up two scores the over covers. If you are squeamish about putting almost 3-1 for the Saints tease them with the over. I'm going to do both...
