Oh Calgary!

Well folks it's hard to feel good about picking the Giants first win after a loss. Not that it was some great feat...they were playing the hapless Vikings. But what I'm really upset about is that I knew Calgary was better than the bookies are giving them credit for and I should have either laid off betting against them all together or seen the value that they were almost 2-1 against!

Next time I will be a little more careful.

Three games in the NHL that I like:

Blackhawks (-182) @ Panthers: This is a gross mismatch. Chicago is coming off a solid win on Saturday against the Blues while Florida is up and down breaking a 3 game losing streak Saturday against Minnesota.

Predators (+131) @ Wild. Nashville is improving with a modest 2 game win streak and a 2-2 record on the road. While Minnesota just can't get out of their own way with only 19 goals this season. I see value here taking the road dog.

Coyotes (-199) at home vs. Flames: Phoenix is playing really good hockey right now with a 2-0-1 record at home and should get it done against a tired Calgary team. The Flames can't burn me twice can they?
