Today's Line - More Bittersweet

Big news!

My Twitter account is back up and running. Find me at Sports Bettor@letsget60

Well folks I went 3-3 (50%) yesterday thanks to a coupe of bad bets on road NHL teams. When I was looking for NHL bets I found myself talking myself into the three bets that I placed. This is never good. Typically I know a bet is good almost as soon as I see it. If I had listened to my instincts I would have laid of NHL all together and gone 2-1. Instead I'm 50% for the second day in a row.

How about that double win on the Kentucky Miss St game? I love it when that happens!

Here we go...

NHL:

Penguins (-195) at home vs. Islanders: The Penns have been dominating lately with a 7-2 record and a +11 difference. They draw a struggling Islander team at home who's lost 2 in a row and is 1-2 on the road.

Blues (-191) at home vs. Canucks: St Louis is holding their own in a tough conference with a +8 difference and 4-1 record at home. They welcome a Vancouver team that needed overtime to beat the lowly Devils. Look for the Blues to jump all over a tired Vancouver team.

Avs (-200) at home vs. Hurricanes: The Avs are just killing it with only 1 point less than the league leading Sharks. They face a Carolina team at home that just cannot score goals losing to Minnesota last night. Look for them to be tired and ripe for the rested Avs to take advantage.

NCAA:

Boise State @ BYU (-7): The line opened at 7.5 and was immediately bet down to 7 then back to 7.5 and then bet down again to 7 and that's where it stands. This tells me the sharps jumped on Boise since they were getting more than a TD and then the public got on BYU...you get the idea. So I can't really get a read on it. It seems that Boise is getting a bit too much credit for being so good the last few years but without their starting QB and the fact that BYU is 13-5 ATS against teams with wining records I like BYU giving 7 and I also like the under in both the 1st quarter (13.5). I see the Broncos not doing much on offense and the defense knowing its up to them to keep them in the game.

Top 25 review later today...

Good luck all...
