Today's Line - Back to the Start

The above is from a Coldplay song and it is very fitting after what happened yesterday. When my second year began of this blog I made it my goal to focus on my bankroll more than my winning percentage. As a consequence I was putting more than 6% of my bankroll on certain games.

Clearly this strategy is not working to the tune of  the colossal loses incurred yesterday. Putting that much down on one game went against everything I learned about bankroll management and the art of sports investing.

Today I'm going back to focusing on wins and letting the bankroll take care of itself. No more than 6% on one game, since no pick is better than the next, and I'm going to pick less games to maximize my winnings.
