I'm also happy I stayed away from CBB last night. It was tempting, believe me, but I'm so far behind on preparing for the season any bet would be a total hunch and not a good play. I'll catch up eventually.
Today is a big day as we have a full slate of CFB games and UFC 205! I know @drjayh fell back to earth a little bit last week but he still holds a solid 46-25 overall record. We trust the process and feel very good about tonight's fight card.

UFC 205 is one of the most stacked MMA cards in history with three championship fights on the main card! Not only that, but it takes place at Madison Square Garden in NYC, a city that has resisted allowing the world's fastest growing sport to be held there.
Eddie Alvarez versus Conor McGregor for the lightweight championship
Alvarez recently upset Raphael dos Anjos at UFC FN 90 to take the crown. He is a strong aggressive brawler that don't take no $h-t from nobody! McGregor, who currently holds the featherweight crown, is seeking to become the first fighter in UFC history to be the champion in two weight divisions at the same time. McGregor talks a lot of $h-t, but he also backs it up.

Tyrone Woodley versus Stephen Thompson for the welterweight championship
Woodley recently upset Robbie Lawler at UFC 201 to win the crown. He is a very fast knockout artist with heavy hands. "Wonderboy" Thompson is a kenpo style fighter who holds a 57-0 record as a kick boxer, and a 13-1 record in MMA. He is very elusive and knows how to control the distance in fights. They say style makes fights.

Joanna Jedrzejezyk versus Karolina Kowalkiewiez for the women's strawweight championship
This may be the first UFC fight in history where nobody but the two fighters can both say and spell each others name! Joanna is the champion with a 12-0 record. She is a dominant aggressive Muay Thai stylist with excellent striking and ring movement. Karolina, a classic counter-puncher, also has a Muay Thai background with a 10-0 record. Both Polish women are respectful and cordial with the other, a pleasant change from what has become the standard lead up to UFC fights. This will still be a war in the cage.

Chris Weidman versus Yoel Romero
Weidman is the former middleweight champion with a 13-1 record. He is seeking to get another title shot. "Soldier of God" Romero is a very tough hard hitting fighter with a 12-1 record with 10 knockouts.

On the gridiron I'm parlaying three home teams that should have easy wins.
I know I've been saying that LSU is the hottest team in the West but this is a terrible spot for them. Having to go on the road after getting beat by Bama. Arkansas coming off a nice win at home is getting a touchdown at home. There is value here.
Once again a line moves against me. I have 62 as the over in the USC/Washington game but I don't care. Both these teams get to 30.
Finally on the hardwood the Clippers are only giving 4 to the T-Wolves. This line smells fishy so I'm going with a half a unit.
