Defense is most important when handicapping CBB games.


Team Notes:

Kansas is very good so is Kansas St

Virginia wins ACC. NC State sleeper. Duke is very good as well.

Big 10 is down this year Michigan, Sparty, and Indiana are front-runners to win that conference.

Washington is a sleeper in the Pac-12

Tennessee can challenge Kentucky for the SEC. Florida or Auburn for 3rd. Vandy will make noise.

Nova wins Big East but look out for Butler, Xavier's defense, and Georgetown.

Wofford returns 5 starters

Wyoming has a great home court advantage

San Jose St is really bad


Conference Notes:

AAC: UCF wins as long as BJ Taylor is healthy. SMU is decent. Wichita St rebuilding

A-10: Davidson has a great coach and should win the conference. St. Louis very good ATS and at home. St Joe's is good as well, LaSalle is a good over team.

A-Sun: Lipscomb should win it.

Big East: Marquette will continue to struggle on defense but make a ton of 3s. Good over team as well as Creighton.

Big-10: Nebraska is a tourney team

Big West: UCSB will win it.

CUSA: W. Kentucky should win it. Marshall is a good offensive team.

Colonial: Charleston should win it. Northeastern is good. Hofstra has no defense. Drexel is a good over team. WM good offense, no defense, good free throw shooting team. James Madison good over team.

MAAC: Rider should win it.

Mountain West: Nevada should win it.

Southern: Between Wofford  and UNC Greensboro

Summit: South Dakota St should win it.
