Streaking

Yes folks I'm mired in a losing streak. However I do have to laugh as it took a last second field goal, a walk off home run from a backup catcher off of a relief pitcher that hasn't given up a home run since June, and a goalie that scored on himself to make me go 0-3.

I find this hilarious and chalk it up to bad luck. I'm not discouraged at all since all of my picks were solid. I'm just going to move on with the confidence that the odds will again swing in my favor.

Unfortunately freesportsbet has yet to update my record but we already know to tack on 3 more losses.

I was reminded last night why I don't bet baseball in the playoffs so I'm going to stay away from it the rest of the year. I do like Tampa in tonight only so the Sox can close it out at Fenway.

On to hockey!

Toronto (-138) at home against Colorado: The Leafs are at the top of the NHL in points this year and atop of their conference in goals for with a +4 difference. Colorado is no slouch with a +7 difference however they have yet to go on the road while Toronto looks for their second win at home. I love home teams in hockey and -138 is a nice price for the Leafs at home.

Pittsburgh (-220) at home against Carolina: With one of the best players in hockey on your team at  home how could you go wrong? 220 is a steep price but Carolina has at 0 on difference with one less point than the Penguins. The Penguins have a +7 difference playing excellent defense and are scoring at will.

San Jose (-165) at home against New York: I'm betting against the Rangers just as much as I'm betting on the Sharks. The Rangers face a good Sharks team on the second game of a back-to-back. They have to be a bit tired. The Sharks however are on full rest with a difference of +6 and 4 points. The Rangers won last nigh with smoke and mirrors and i just don't see their defense holding up against a San Jose offense that looks quite impressive.

Good luck all!
