Today's Line - Early Bird Gets the Worm

1-1 last night but you would never know since I forgot to publish my picks. We saw that Robert Morris is garbage and the Pacers finally got back on track. Major conference tournaments should be a sports investors bread and butter and I hope it is for me.

CBB:

Washington @ Utah (-5.5): I think this number is way too low. Utah is probably the most underrated team in the Pac-12 posting wins over BYU, UCLA, Colorado, and Cal. Not to mention wining the last three of their four games with their only loss a one point defeat at Stanford in which they covered. I'm predicting a deep run in the Pac-12 tourney. Washington has been up and down all year losing their last 6 of 9. Utah has the momentum and the motivation because without a deep run they might not make the big dance.

VT @ Miami (-283): We know how bad VT is losing their last 6 games. Miami has shown flashes of brilliance by beating ASU, N. Carolina, Notre Dame, and FSU twice. They also played Syracuse and Clemson tough. I think sheer talent and experience (Miami has 5 seniors to VT's 2) will be the difference in a close one.

USC @ Colorado (-9): USC is at the bottom of the Pac-12 along with WSU...not surprisingly I'm betting against WSU as well. Colorado has been doing pretty good since they lost one of their top players and should not have any trouble dispatching a Trojan team that just wants the season to be over.

Miami of Ohio @ Ohio (-236): Ohio is much better than Miami beating them twice already this year. Ohio survives and advances.

Oregon St @ Oregon (-313): Since this game is a rivalry and they split this year I'm taking the ML. I think it will be close but Oregon needs a deep run in the Pac-12 to secure a spot in the Big Dance.

Miss St @ Vandy (-7): Miss St hasn't won a game since January. Talk about a team that just wants it to end. Vandy has the talent and the motivation to advance and should not have an issue covering the 7.

WSU @ Stanford (-11.5): Stanford crushed WSU earlier this year and won't take this game lightly since the Cougers just knocked off UCLA. I see a focused Cardinal ready to do damage and cover the double-digit spread.

NBA to follow if time permitting.

Good Luck All!
