Today's Line - Can't Win'em All

5-3 last night which is over 60% but disappointing that the Bulls couldn't get it done in OT. I think that series is over. The Bulls just cannot keep up with the scoring of the Wiz. The Wiz may have a bad quarter where the Bulls can get back in the game but the Bulls cannot hang with the Wiz possession for possession, quarter for quarter. Bulls are cooked they may get 1 at Washington but I can't see this series going past 5 games.

My other two loses came in extra innings so I can't be too bummed about that.

NBA:

Mavs @ Spurs (-400): Spurs are too good of a team to relax and drop one at home. I see this series going 5 games max.

MLB:

D-backs @ Cubs (-129): The Cubs have a chance to win their first series of the season with their ace on the mound. I'm not a huge fan of betting on the Cubs but the price is right for the former Notre Dame tight end.

Reds (+104) @ Pirates: The Reds have Simon on the mound who has done pretty well so far this year sporting a 0.86 ERA. The Pirates have Morton and he has struggled this season. I like the price for Simon.

Orioles (+102) @ Blue Jays: Tilman for the O's is on the mound today having a good season with an 1.71 ERA. He was a bit shaky last time out so I'm betting he rights the ship today. Plus I have zero confidence in McGowan for the Jays.

Tigers (-189) @ White Sox: This is less of an endorsement for the Tiger's Smyly and more of a bet against the White Sox starter Rienzo who is making his first major league start today.

Padres @ Brewers (-131): The Brew Crew get back on track against the Padres with Lohse who is having a pretty good year versus the Padres' Ross who has only pitched away from Petco one other time this season.
