Today's Line - Let's Get 3!

Went 4-1 last night with the only loss coming from the Dartmouth/Cornell game. I guess Cornell was due for a win since they haven't won a Div 1 game yet this year. Louisville came though in a big way like I predicted as well as SMU. The other two Ivy league games went as I expected but I could have done without the stress of 2 OT in the Harvard Columbia game.

Harvard travels to Cornell today, I'd be really interested in taking the Crimson here...I see a huge letdown by Cornell after their win last night.

We have a full slate of games today and my goal is to get within 6 of 55%. With that...

Iowa (-3) @ Penn St: Penn St is coming off a emotional win coming from behind and beating Indiana at Assembly Hall. Iowa is the class of the Big 10 and is just too talented to struggle with Penn St even on the road.

Texas AM @ Vandy (pick'em): The Aggies just aren't that good losing 6 out of their last 8 including a 11 point loss at home to Vandy. Now they have to travel to trending Vandy's home court. Vandy has won 4 out of their last 6 and is the better team. I see them getting back on track at home.


Straight Up:

Texas Tech @ Iowa St. (-565): Not going out on a limb too much here. However Iowa St is coming off a bad loss getting destroyed by West Virginia on the road and Texas Tech has but together a nice little win streak beating TCU, Oky St and Oklahoma. Nonetheless I see the Raiders coming back to earth a bit and the Cyclones getting it done at home which is a very tough place to play for visitors.

Stanford (-260) @ Wash. St.: The Cougars aren't very good and Stanford needs this conference win to stay relevant in the Pac-12.

West Virginia @ Texas (-266): Texas has got it's mojo back winning 7 of their last 10. The welcome a West Virginia team that despite their drubbing of Iowa St isn't very consistent going 203 as an away dog. Texas takes care of business at home.

Ohio St. (-205) @ Illinois: Ohio St needs this conference win to stay alive in the Big 10. They have the talent and possibly the best PG in the nation. Look for them to lock down Illinois and get the win on the road.

Cal Poly @ Long Beach St (-252): The 49ers are only 1.5 games back in the Big West and need this win to keep pace with Hawaii. Cal Poly sin't very good and gives a lot in rebounding ranked 302nd with 32 RPG compared to Long Beach ranked 98th with almost 37 RPG. This will be the difference plus home court for the 49ers.
